February is Black History Month. In honor of African-American History and Culture and the entire African Diaspora, we're doing some fun programs. This Thursday is a FREE Capoeira Martial-Arts Class in 717/718 at 4:30pm. As well, there are free bookmarks and pens in the Library and Student Affairs and some informational posters around campus honoring African-Americans who have contributed to our combined history. Also, at the end of the month, on February 26th is the Black History Month Celebration in the Photo Studio. This will be a big, fun event with a Funk & Fusion band and delicious food.
