Dear Students, it's been a very rewarding day helping all of you get your final work wrapped up and supporting your end-of-quarter projects. I hope some of you got a chance to come check out the Portfolio Show at Benaroya Hall today. The graduating students' work was inspiring !
And I want you to know about some of the great activities and events that await your return to classes for Fall Quarter. We in Student Affairs call Week One, "Welcome Week!" We've prepared some workshops that will assist in transition to the college, including a Safety in Seattle Workshop and a Welcome Week Social that will include snacks, raffle prizes and an opportunity to meet other students in your program.
The full calendar of activities will be up on this blog next week. Other activities for Fall Quarter include: EMP trip, Yoga, Zumba, A Hike to Rattlesnake Ledge, Holiday Crafting Workshops, Emerging Leaders Program info session and much much more...
And a final note: Emerging Leaders Program is cancelled for Fall Quarter to facilitate some revamping and planning of the program. ELP will be offered Winter Quarter 2012, so if you're interested you can still apply now.
