The Tsunami Shoe Project, a fundraiser for Japan Red Cross, has generated some really cool designs. Some of them are Japanese in theme and others are disco, funky, and even some really strong representations of Seattle and the 206! These shoes are going to be on display and the bidding will begin soon and culminate up until the Tsunami Shoe Concert and Silent Auction at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center (YCAC) on Delridge Way on Thursday, June 16th at 7pm. The Concert and Gala is sponsored by Utrecht and Blank Canvas and sound will be managed by The Audio Club. Also looking for volunteers to help support culinary pursuits that hope to include the Culinary Club.
